April 15th was the perfect day to kick off the 2023 wedding season! Boram & Tyler were a wonderful couple to work with, and their friends were amazing! I love a group of bridesmaids & groomsmen that not only keep things fun on a wedding day but are also super helpful and willing to do whatever needs done to make their friends have the perfect day!
When I had my first consultation with Boram, she told me she was DIYing her flowers through a company called Flower Moxie. I had never heard of the company before but I can tell you now – I. Am. A. Fan. The flowers were in great shape and lasted without any sign of wilting throughout the wedding day. Boram did a wonderful job creating her bouquets and boutonnieres, and the colors were so bold and perfect for spring. You couldn’t even tell that she threw in a couple of faux pieces as well!
The cutest detail had to be the couple’s dog – Dudley. An adorable white ball of energy, Dudley donned a vest as he walked down the aisle. There was also a miniature of him included on their cake! And let’s talk about that cake – it was delicious and provided by The Baking Grounds, and it was the first time I’ve ever been asked to decorate a wedding cake! No pressure, right?! My assistant and I, along with suggestions from the mother of the groom, added florals & the Dudley mini. I have to say it turned out pretty good!
All-in-all it had all the elements of a perfect wedding day: amazing weather, a picturesque venue, a charismatic vendor team, and of course, an adorable couple.
